Classic Albums
I watched the mini-documentary on the making of Who’s Next, part of the “Classic Albums” series. They play Townsend’s demos and they are incredible. It’s worth watching for the look on Daltrey’s and Townsend’s faces when they play back the studio tapes and solo Keith Moon’s drums. The one on Plastic Ono Band was awesome too, but, to be fair, I will eat up any “making-of-album” documentary, by pretty much any crappy band you can imagine.
